The languages that I tutor are Java, Javascript, and Python.

For beginners, we’ll focus on course work from CodeAcademy, freeCodeCamp or Code.org, or whatever material you are covering in your coding class.

For experienced coders, we’ll start will a project of your choosing, or whatever material you are covering in your coding class.

Scheduling

First you’d book a 15min consultation. After that, if you think I’d be a good tutor for you, I’ll give you a link where you can schedule 30min or 1 hour block for tutoring based on your availability, at your convenience. My availability will show up on the scheduling page that I will give you.

Payments and Cancellations

Payments are done through Venmo, Paypal or CashApp before we meet for your tutoring session. If you’ve already paid and need to cancel, you will be refunded the full amount. You can cancel up to 3 hours before the scheduled session.

Writing

The writing skills I focus on are for essays, blog posts, articles (both print and digital) and books.

I’d expect that you would come with the assignment, and we’d work together to brainstorm ideas that are of interest to you, and flesh out an outline. As you write, you’ll submit your assignments to me, and I will edit and critique.

Math – Algebra

The math skill I focus on at the moment is high school algebra.

We’d go through the assignments you have to complete, and walkthrough each problem step by step, to make sure you have a good understanding.

If you don’t have material from your class, we’d use some content from KhanAcademy.org
